Matt's book was a lot of fun to read. At first, I just thought I'd give it a shot, but then I couldn't put it down. I read the whole thing in less than a week. I didn't know how much I didn't know! Then, I showed it to a friend and he took it. Now, I'm buying another copy of the book to read again more slowly and implement even more of the great lessons provided.Matt is obviously very well read and he did an amazing job synthesizing so much of the information he has acquired into an organized, easy-to-read manual for life. This book is a great resource that I will take with me to read during the corners of the day.
I am especially connected to the author's mission to direct proceeds from the sale of his book to help rebuild homes in the Bayou for families displaced by Hurricane Katrina. When I first heard about it, I said "Yeah, right." Then, I had a chance to meet Mr. Theriault when he spoke at a real-estate workshop in Los Angeles, and he was TOTALLY genuine. His presentation was both insightful and fun, and I was amazed at the results he is getting in his own life. Obviously, he is using the information in his book to create an incredible future for himself and others.

I really like the book. Its like the cliff notes of all the growth and develipment books in one. I especially love the chapter about failure. I wont look at failure the same way!
He has a clear concise writing style that makes the subject easily understood Bit it will still require effort on the part of the reader to apply it to their life.
I like this book. I like the fact that the author talks about coming from the bottom. so often we read personal development from the standpoint of an instructor but rarely do we hear about scraping the bottom of the barrel AND then what we learn when turning it around. This is something more people can relate to and benefit from.
I think I agree with the first review. This book is like a compilation of a bunch of principles out there but all in one, easy read book! I even got the audio version for an "easier" read. This book keeps in existence all the easy to do but easy to forget stuff so when I find myself not producing results, I just play one of the chapters over and over and over and apply what I hear, and suddenly, I find myself producing results again.
Its been a long time since I've picked up a book and struggled putting it down due to its amazing content!! The author has done an incredible job at taking the ever so difficult task of rising when you have hit rock bottom. Just when you feel life can't get better, Matt takes, what seems like the most difficult aspects of rising, and explains it with such ease you actually can apply it to your life and begin to watch yourself rise again. His way with words make a seemingly impossible task, absolutely do-able. Here is to my life's DO OVER!!!!
